You have been invited to apply for participation in the Blue Chip Sports Academy 2008 Elite Soccer Showcase in Lakeville, MN. We are picking the best 108 boys and 108 girls from the Midwest and Canada to participate in our event on July 22 and 23. The college coaches will have a blocked off area for easy access to watch the showcase and multiple games going on at once. The showcase is open to boys and girlsentering the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in the fall of 2008.

The morning of July 22, both the boys and girls will participate in a showcase developed by Division 1 coaches. Conditioning, skills, and agility drills will be graded and the results added to the player bios to all the Division I coaches.
Each player will participate in three 90-minute games. We will stop each half at the 22:50 mark to send in substitutes. Each player will be guaranteed a minimum of a game and a half of play.
Players will be randomly put on a team. Each team will consist of 2 goalies, 4 forwards, 6 midfielders, and 6 defenders. The total allotment of positions for the tournament for both the boys and girls is as follows: 12 goalies, 24 forwards, 36 midfielders, and 36 defenders.
You must fill out the attached application and send it in to Blue Chip Sports Academy. Once applications are received, they will be evaluated by staff. Players will be notified of acceptance within a week of Blue Chip receiving their application. A $10 non-refundable application fee must accompany each resume. Once player is accepted to camp the player will receive all information pertaining to the Blue Chip Soccer Showcase, including directions, hotel info, seminar times, and specifics on the skills session.
